As the owner, produce or promoter of a night club or special event, we realize the immense amount of planning and responsibility related to these endeavors. We provide courteous and experienced personnel.

This ensures that you can focus on the things that are most important to you and set your mind free of the security and safety issues pertaining to your event.

TRAINING

The Celestials, Inc. personnel participate in training programs which meet and exceed all training guidelines required by the New York State Department of Criminal Justice Services.

The first required course is an 8-Hour Pre-Assignment Training Course. This training consists of theoretical, as well as practical instruction and participation on behalf of the trainee. The subject matter covered in the training session includes:

• Basic Orientation

• Role of a Security Officer

• Legal Powers & Limitations

• Emergency Situations

• Communication/Public Relations

•  Access Control

• Ethics & Conduct 

Each participant is issued a certificate upon successful completion of the course. This certificate must accompany the security officer's registration application when submitted to the Department of State.

Within 90 days of submission of a security officer's registration application, a second training course must be completed - the 16 Hour On-the-Job Training Course. This expands on the initial topics of the pre-assignment course and can also be tailored specifically to our client's facility or particular security requirements.

All employees/agents are required to participate in an additional two classes per month totaling at least 4 hours every month. Topics addressed in such seminars are:

• Proper attire and grooming

• Verbal Judo

• Positive interactions with law enforcement

• Development of Leadership Qualities

• Defensive Group Formations

• Narcotics

• Self Defense Training

• Bomb Threats

• Fire Safety

• Report Writing

• Crowd Control Tactics
